25 years of Innovation, Elimination and Prevention
We can hardly believe that it is 25 years since we carried out our first domestic ant treatment in Merseyside and signed up our first clients for annual prevention services in Leigh and St Helens. On checking they are still with us today, as are the 4 founding Technicians who are all in key roles directing the company through smooth and rough times.
Our growth from a couple of vans to over 100 today and being the largest independent pest control company is even more amazing. The variety of pests which we treat today has changed with more variety, particularly tropical pests being treated.
We have driven the standards forward in our Industry being the innovators for many of the systems used by other companies throughout the UK including barcode technology, web site access to service records and developers of unique traps for insects and rodents.
Our Internal training system to British Pest Control Association standards and dedication to raising the standards in the industry have provided a platform for our continued growth, as has the adoption of technology where suitable.
We have laid the foundations over the past 20 years by seeking ways to be innovative and raising the standards in the pest control industry to make life easier for each of our customers.

Pest of the Month – Rats – The very thought of rats sends a shiver through most people and with the mild winters and extended warm weather which the UK has experienced in the last 4 years, populations are at record levels. Rats are prolific breeders with a single pair producing a family of up to 2000 off spring in a year. We all need to be on our guard and remove any conditions, which rats will thrive in. A rat can get through a hole 5/8th of an inch and therefore potential entry points should be sealed. Any food sources in stores need removing overnight, or to be placed in a suitable protective containers, with spillages removed at the earliest opportunity. Rats carry diseases and live in filthy environments, if they enter your clean premises it will soon become contaminated.
